Villanelle

In me, we two are not just you and I,
We’re woes and wishes, will and world entwined,
Though bound to part and perish by and by.

Though some fear love ( are they afraid to die?)
We find our freedom where it's most confined.
In me, we two are not just you and I.

Inward and out, in air and earth we fly -
Two flocks of quantum angels, androgyne -
Though bound to part and perish by and by.

The myth of binaries is a cheap lie.
Where truths are told  in Trinities, we find:
In me, we two are not  just you and I.

In Love, accountancy does not apply,
Since lovers (never fair) are always kind,
Though bound to part and perish by and by.

And even if you proved that Love must lie,
I’d follow her soft singing (we’re both blind).
In me, we two are not just you and I,
Though bound to part and perish by and by.  The Old Dog Web Log
